The Surrey Shield Roofing Co is a small, local business based in the village, and you deal with Matt directly from the first phone call to the finished roof. We have built our reputation as dependable local roofers by doing good work and paying attention to the small details. Much of our work comes from recommendations, and we are proud of that. We cover all aspects of roofing: new roofs, tiled and slate roofs, flat roofs, general repairs, chimneys, leadwork, uPVC fascias and soffits, guttering, moss removal and Velux windows. No job is too small. Matt will look at your roof, explain what he finds in plain terms and give you a detailed written quote. There is no pressure to decide on the doorstep. ### Who we help Homeowners across Bookham and the surrounding Surrey towns and villages. ### What we do All aspects of roofing, from a single slipped tile to a complete new roof. ### Where we work Bookham, Great Bookham, Leatherhead, Fetcham, Effingham, Ashtead, Epsom, Cobham, East Horsley, West Horsley, Shalford, Woking, Guildford, all close to our base in Bookham. ### How you are dealt with Honest advice and a clear written quote, with the same person looking after you from start to finish. How we work ## The care every job gets We want you to be happy to recommend us, so every job gets the same care, whatever its size. ### We look at the roof first Matt goes up and inspects the actual roof rather than guessing from the pavement. You are told what has failed, shown it where possible, and given the reasoning before any figure is discussed. ### Free, detailed written quotes The quote sets out the work, the materials and the scope, so you can see what you are paying for and compare it properly against anyone else you have in. ### Honest advice A single slipped tile is a single slipped tile. If a repair will genuinely hold, that is what you are offered; a full re-roof is only recommended when the covering is past repairing. ### A tidy site Old materials taken away, drives and paths cleared, gutters checked before leaving. Customers mention the tidy site as often as they mention the roof. ### All work guaranteed You don't just have our word for it. Every job leaves with a written workmanship guarantee, and how long it runs for depends on the work carried out. ### £2m and £10m insurance £2m public liability and £10m employers' liability cover, so the work on your property is properly covered before anyone climbs a ladder. Guarantees ## What is guaranteed, and for how long These are workmanship guarantees on the work carried out, given in writing. They sit alongside £2m public liability and £10m employers' liability cover.
